What do fairness, social responsibility and transparency mean in the context of global production?
Our film accompanies the production of a Fairtrade Organic T-Shirt: In the country of production, India, we met and interviewed people along the supply chain - from cotton farmers and seamstresses to producers and academics. We want to depict a variety of positions from the textile industry and make local, Indian voices heard to reflect about critical consumption.

Our journey began in the farming villages around Titlagarh in Eastern India, took us to numerous factories in the greater Tirupur area in the South of the country and from there back to Germany and Constance, accompanying every single processing step with our camera.
